The DJ series is a 1.0mm pitch two-piece connector developed as a next-generation removable connector. This series features a straight-type SMT connector on the unit side and a flexible light angle DIP type on the PC side, allowing for free selection of alignment (four types). It has a user-friendly design with careful considerations such as a guide mechanism effective for removable mating, a contact buckling prevention mechanism, the adoption of fixing hardware to enhance strength, and a reverse insertion prevention mechanism. It is a hot-swappable product that allows for the insertion and removal of HDDs, CD-ROMs, batteries, etc., while the power is on, and it enables the connection of frame grounds between devices. Additionally, a version with independent power pins on the left and right for effective power supply to battery packs is also available, making it an ideal product for removable applications.
